We’ve been busy celebrating the summer months with local artisan markets, concerts, festivals, fundraisers, and networking events. Soon we’ll be celebrating the harvest, back-to-school, and getting ready for the holidays. Let’s not rush ahead. The time to celebrate your life, spend time with your loved ones, and live fully in your wellness is now.

1. Green River Festival

8/27/2021–8/29/2021 (Friday-Sunday)

Franklin County Fairgrounds

The Green River Festival is Western Massachusetts' all-out end-of-summer event! Hot air ballooners unite to fill the sky while the community throws their party of the year. With musical artists like Jon Baptiste, Drive-By Truckers, and Ani DiFranco the event is sure to draw in music-lovers of all walks of life. Stellar local food, local craft beer & wine, a handmade artisan fair, and activities that fit all ages. It’s the perfect way to go big before we put on pants again.

 

 

2. Terp Town Throwdown

8/20/2021–8/21/2021 (Friday-Sunday)
Spencer Fairgrounds
48 Smithville Road, Spencer, MA 01562

This is a one-of-a-kind homegrown cannabis award show. A summertime celebration of cannabis culture, art, music, east coast cannabis businesses, services, and more. This festival-like event brings cannabis businesses from across the state to showcase their best products in the homegrown cannabis award show. Vendors line the yard with their best products and show off innovative services while live music fills the air. This event will be attended by cannabis culture enthusiasts and is 21+.

3. Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience

9/1/2021–1/31/2022 (Month-long thru January)
Location TBD

Step into the world of one of the greatest artistic geniuses of the 19th century this fall. This one-of-a-kind 360-degree VR experience allows you to immerse yourself in Van Gogh’s masterpieces. This experience includes digital displays, sound effects, projection mapping and much more!

The show will be available from September through the end of January, but be sure to get your tickets now as October and November are already sold out. You can visit weekdays 10am–8pm, or weekends & holidays 9am–9pm and last about an hour at a time.

 

 

4. Dermot Kennedy Concert

8/19/2021 (Thursday)

If you’ve been looking for new music, we’ve got a treat for you. Powerful ballads that may get stuck in your head! Dermot Kennedy is an Irish singer and songwriter who has exploded onto the music scene in the last few years. He’s touring North American here in 2021. This is the one time he’ll be in Boston this year.


 

5. Northampton Farmers Market

Saturdays (8/21/2021) 
Gothic Street
Downtown Northampton

There’s nothing like a great farmer’s market to kick off the weekend with good energy and life. We love to support our local farmers, artisans, and small businesses. The farmer’s market is the perfect place to do that. Come choose from fresh and organically grown produce, artisan homegoods, and so much more. The Northampton Farmers' Market accepts EBT, Debit, and Credit Cards. Come meet this community face to face at the Northampton Farmer’s Market every Saturday.
